The 14th annual Storybook Festival will take place on July 19 and 20, 2019. Visit Wylie Park and famous Storybook Land. This news will return you to your childhood.
There is a fantastic park on the outskirts of Aberdeen, Wylie Park. Within the park, there are 210 acres of pure fantasy for entire families. A place of once upon a time and enchantment awaits you there — Storybook Land.
This place does not have an age requirement, and there are no boundaries. The Land is full of magic and make-believe. The air is stuffed with all-so-popular and memorable myths and fairy tales from the nursery. The ones that grandmothers used to tell you before bedtime.
Additionally, there are medieval castles guarded by knights in shiny armor. Ultimately, those two days are dedicated to storytelling, music, literature, and animating the imagination of young and old alike.
The first Storybook Land Festival was held in 2006 as a part of the 125th Celebration of Aberdeen. Over the years, the Festival grew in attendance and the number of children’s authors known in the region and locally.
Besides the already-mentioned activities, visitors can take part in music entertainment programs or various other fun actions. The Storybook Land citizens are there for you.
The Land offers its treasures to all on Friday and Saturday, July 19 and 20, 2019. Feel welcomed to join in for days of fun, music, stories, food, art, and bliss!
